The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the earned pay, retirement and health care benefits of federal employees, retirees and their survivors. NARFE’s mission is both critical and timely as Congress and the administration consider unprecedented cuts to federal pay and benefits.
We are currently seeking a Membership Retention manager who can hit the ground running in support of NARFE’s programs to renew and retain members. The ideal candidate has the analytical know-how to provide data-driven solutions and can be creative in appealing to NARFE’s broad membership base. In this role you would be responsible for:
Overseeing and executing mail and email renewal efforts and engagement programs.
Developing and executing a communication strategy for NARFE field recruiters.
Analyzing program trends and providing innovative solutions and best practices for positive outcomes.
You should have a bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of experience as renewal/retention specialist within a membership association or in a publications firm. You should also have:
An aptitude for providing excellent customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of association management software (AMS) and content management systems (CMS).
