Position: Coordinator, Feeding Tomorrow, the Foundation of IFT

Reports To: Director, Feeding Tomorrow
Location: Chicago, IL
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
The Coordinator of Feeding Tomorrow supports and assists the foundation’s programmatic and fund development efforts in line with the foundation’s strategic priorities. The Coordinator works closely with IFT staff and volunteers to ensure that administrative requirements are handled efficiently. This position requires the ability to manage competing priorities while paying attention to detail.
Effectively administer, update and manage scholarship/volunteer application system and database
Assist the Director with execution of fund development campaigns, including sponsor/donor outreach, follow up and recognition
Assist in coordinating Board of Trustee and Program Committee meeting details, invitation lists and minutes as appropriate
Coordinate and attend programmatic and fund development conference calls as required
Develop and sustain a productive working relationship with the Board of Trustees, key volunteer leaders and IFT staff
Effectively manage the travel schedules for team members and external stakeholders
Effectively represent Feeding Tomorrow and IFT at the Annual Meeting and other events
Provide administrative support for a variety of projects and other initiatives
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Communications, or related area preferred
Minimum three years of professional administrative experience
Proven successes in managing a variety of assignments simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail
Excellent computer skills, including database management
Strict attention to detail
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
