The Division of Member Operations and Engagement seeks an organized and detailed oriented addition to their team to coordinate, and maintain accurate membership records, approve and welcome new national members, and prepare monthly membership reports; assist with ongoing netFORUM enhancements and testing; assist with projects and activities for division committees and sections; and ensure premier member service in all communications.
Some of the tasks include:
Manage assigned membership application approval processes. Correspond with applicants as necessary to ensure accuracy of information, and send out welcome packets and approval notifications.
Review and analyze data validity reports to ensure accuracy of member data; identify and recommend solutions to correct data discrepancies.
Prepare and distribute membership reports relating to monthly member count, demographic and comparison reports.
Work with appropriate staff to test reports, netFORUM enhancement, and new processes.
Provide staff support for division committees and sections as needed, including agenda development, meeting planning, report writing, welcome email, listserv reports, technical assistance, and writing and disseminating minutes.
Qualified candidates will possess:
Bachelor’s degree communications, business, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience required.
2-3 years general administrative experience required, including some membership/customer relations activities and maintaining database information.
Experience in a membership association and with project management and process improvement initiatives preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with database software programs required.
Must be detail oriented and be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously within established deadlines, work independently, and effectively collaborate with various internal and external constituents.
Some overtime and occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required.
