The Marketing Manager will work with the Director of Training and Technical Assistance, the Health Law and Federal Grants attorneys across the firm to increase visibility, awareness and appreciation of the firm’s capabilities and credentials among its various target audiences. The Marketing Manager will work directly with the Director of Training & Technical Assistance and two Training and Marketing Specialists.
Primary responsibilities include:
Newsletters, Brochures and Promotional Materials: Designing (or overseeing vendor to design), updating and maintaining online and print marketing material including, but not limited to email marketing for trainings and webinars, brochures for tradeshows and attorney profiles. Also oversees list creation and updates.
Social Media: Managing the firm’s presence across all relevant social media channels; identifying our largest audience(s) and defining our desired “voice” and message for each medium.
Website: In conjunction with the Director of Training & TA, monitoring, editing and updating the FTLF website content and presentation. Working proactively with practice groups to ensure that descriptions are regularly updated to reflect the firm’s most recent achievements.
Awards: Managing development/ submission of all external award nominations.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree required;
5+ years experience, 3+ years experience in health care and/or law firm or similar professional services environment
Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and website content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
Familiar with SEO and Google Analytics including ability to set goals, interpret metrics, and implement projects that will improve online performance and visibility is a plus.
Excellent writing skills required. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to prepare written materials to support and to follow-up marketing opportunities for the firm and for individual attorneys.
Knowledge of the Salesforce products a plus;
Must demonstrate initiative, be highly organized, able to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments;
Must have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Limited travel required.
