Under the direction of the Associate Director, Education, drives innovation in online learning activities. Develop business plans to create new products that generate revenue to support society membership. Continuously evaluates performance, identifies new opportunities and pilots new formats to ensure vibrant learning opportunities for scientists and clinicians. Manager will help ensure the Society’s compliance with continuing medical education (CME) and maintenance of certification (MOC) activity requirements by maintaining proper activity files and reports.
What you'll bring to the job:
BA/BA degree and 5 – 7 years’ association experience preferred.
Experience with developing online learning programs, project management, and committee/faculty liaison duties strongly preferred.
Experience in database management, spreadsheets, and word processing required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional presence.
Experience and/or passion with applying adult learning principles and instructional design techniques to achieve desired outcomes for educational activities.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of stakeholders (staff, committee members, learners, collaborators, etc.).
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Self-motivation, a results-oriented attitude, and ability to prioritize team efforts to use limited resources efficiently.
Appropriate technical skills required for proficiency in the use of computers (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, database management, etc.) and ability to learn new technology as required.
Ability to travel several times a year and work weekends or after-hours, on occasion.
Ability to work in fast paced collaborative environment.

What you'll own:
1.You will serve as primary staff liaison for the Science Educational Core Committee and secondary liaison to the Clinical Endocrine Education Committee:
Provide strategic Leadership to the committees and work groups.
Manages faculty meetings, including agenda and materials development with the chairs and education staff and develops minutes as appropriate.
Serve as primary staff representation of the Society during meetings. Attend to the needs of members, senior staff and the medical editor.
2. You will identify, develop and implement educational opportunities to expand breadth and reach of online activities with a focus towards revenue generation:
Applies adult learning principles and appropriate instructional design techniques to achieve desired outcomes for educational activities
Develop, manage, and curate continuing education and professional development programs that meet the needs of target audience.
Manages project plans, procedures, programs and educational materials
Monitors educational modules, assesses results, and implements enhancements as needed.
Develops intended learning outcomes and learning objectives for educational activities and links them to identified member problems or evidence-based gaps in knowledge, competence and/or performance.
Works collaboratively with committee, faculty and staff to curate and create competency-based education.
Development of budget, monitoring revenue, expenses, and marketing plans of all assigned programs, products and services.
Design, development, implementation, oversight and evaluation of all assigned programs, products and services
Collaborates closely with the Specialist, Technology Education for implementation of new educational content that maximizes educational delivery to meet learner needs.
Manages and analyzes data collected from follow-up surveys to learners for educational modules.
Manages education content currently housed on LMS.
Reviews CME Activity files for compliance and ACCME annual report data per internal submission deadlines.
3. Collaborates with other ES staff members to create and promote educational products:
Member Services: Communicates updates and changes regarding educational projects. Support member and customer relationships.
Development and Strategic Partnerships: Assists in the development of grant proposals and supports the reconciliation and outcomes process for commercially supported products.
Marketing: Develops marketing information and reviews promotional pieces. Works with Marketing Department to perform market analysis (both domestic and international) of educational products, including research on best practices and new advancements.
Education, Science and Professional Development and Government and Public Affairs: Collaborate within divisions to identify and deliver educational products to serve member needs.
4. Administer the Society’s CME & MOC-accredited activities:
Assist with annual evaluation of the overall CME program including individual activity file review.
Manage PIMs and Oversee Test Item Writing CME.
Review CME program evaluation summaries annually, identify and analyze key information/data for purposes of an overall CME Program Evaluation.
Ensure compliance with Endocrine Society policies, procedures, planning documents, and processes in collaboration with management; provide training to Society staff, members (on faculty and in leadership), and collaborators as appropriate.
Help the education team and collaborators to identify, implement, and document improvements to the CME and MOC program on a continuing basis.
Help with the integration of new ACCME Criteria for Commendation to ensure continued Accreditation with Commendation status.
Assist with ACCME PARS data validity and compliance, as well as registration of ABIM MOC activities and participant data in PARS.
