The Facilitator Relations Specialist of ATD works as the owner of all facilitator scheduling aspects within our Education Department. This includes ad hoc scheduling changes and travel issues, scheduling domestic and international public programs with facilitators and optimizing the process to meet both public and onsite demands.
The position will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders in different business areas and will develop and execute scheduling strategies and identify new opportunities.
Schedule facilitators for open enrollment courses (Certificate, Masters, and Essentials)
Maintain all components of the Facilitator Database and Schedule
Handle ad hoc schedule changes, travel issues, and request approvals
Coordinate facilitator contract renewal
Process payments for international deliveries
Coordinate with the Logistics Project Manager on all aspects of forecasting public deliveries
Coordinate with Enterprise Specialist on all aspects of enterprise deliveries
Ensure facilitators have the correct version of materials for their upcoming programs.
Ensure new facilitators have an updated bio and photo for web display
Serve as a point of contact for any questions regarding the Learning Management System

Genuinely curious with a desire to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Comfortable working in a variety of data management systems
Experience in scheduling and event management is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in related field
The position is based in our offices in Alexandria, VA. No telecommuting. ATD will not pay for relocation. Some travel is required.
ATD provides an outstanding compensation and benefits package. Located within blocks of the King Street metro in Old Town Alexandria, ATD helps with transportation costs (parking is free).
