Develop, implement, and manage membership strategic direction and marketing plan for all section offerings. This includes, but is not limited to: supervising all activities to market entity membership, programs, and products; identifying appropriate target audiences and marketing channels; and establishing effective marketing efforts.
Collaborate with member leaders and key staff to create and execute section recruitment and retention campaigns. Research and prepare membership activity reports and make recommendations to increase membership and strengthen engagement.
Advertise products, such as section membership, CLE, and books to ensure fulfillment of annual strategic and revenue goals. Develop and execute promotion strategies in consultation with Associate Director and member leaders. Manage copy, design, production, and delivery of promotional messages across channels, including email, direct mail, social media, and print advertisements.
Train and guide direct reports in execution of assigned tasks.
Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university (or equivalent experience) (Master's Degree Preferred)
Experience: Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Advanced analytical ability of marketing-related data and ability to communicate same to management as necessary. Experience negotiating with and/or managing external vendors as well as marketing plan development,administration, and evaluation. Experience with setting and managing budgets also required. This position requires 6+ years of marketing experience.
