The National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), a small, 9-employee/2,500 member legal trade association, is looking for a CLE and Registration Coordinator with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the CLE/meetings and/or education department of a professional trade association.
CLE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with Meetings and Sponsorship Director in securing all materials needed for filing continuing legal education applications. • File in-person conferences, webinars, and teleconferences for CLE approval and submit updated material as needed; create and maintain a database of CLE approvals • Develop relationships with relevant CLE authorities; Stay up-to-date on current mandatory state and regulatory body governance and guidelines regarding continuing education requirements. • Work with Conference Chairs/Vice Chairs to ensure conference content meets CLE requirements • Create CLE documents for in-person conferences, webinars, and teleconferences • Report CLE credits, where required by the sponsor; follow-up with states regarding accreditation and/or CLE compliance • Maintain attendee records from NABL conferences (dating back five years); respond to member requests relating to CLE credit
REGISTRATION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Input all events into iMis database. • Process all event registrations and cancellations. • Assist members/registrants with questions/issues regarding event registration. • Prepare regular internal registration reports and a final reconciled attendance report. • Assist Meetings & Sponsorship Director with preparation of conference materials • Prepare attendee badges and coordinate on-site conference registration materials. • Manage on-site registration process and attendee check-in desk • Manage and update the conference shipping list and prepare materials for shipping to and from the conferences. • Unpack and organize materials upon return to the office. • Assist with pre-planning and some on-site meeting planning responsibilities.
GENERAL OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide administrative support for office, serve as a back up for answering telephones and general administrative duties as needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Experience/familiarity with continuing education credit/certification processing
Ability to organize, prioritize work, multitask, work independently, and take initiative
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and association management applications (iMis 20/RISE strongly preferred)
Experience processing registrations and providing onsite support for conferences
Strong customer service skills
Ability to write in a professional/business style and tone
Ability to travel 3 times per year
