Responsible for providing quality and efficient educational and administrative support to the Key Club International organization. Works directly with Key Club Manager on all matters of Key Club International.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide planning and administrative support to Key Club International
Assist the Key Club Manager in the administration of the organization
Act as staff liaison to board committees, as assigned.
Manage travel arrangements for board members.
Support and be responsive to key volunteers, advisors, and administrators on a regular basissponsive to key volunteers, advisors, and administrators on a regular basis
Provide planning, administrative, and educational support to Key Club International events, including Board training, Board meetings, the annual Governors and Administrators Training Conference, and other leadership development and training programs.
Assist in the development of club support materials; responds to phone and email inquiries; develops and produces educational opportunities including webinars and online content.
With the Key Club Manager, plans and executes all aspects of the international convention.
Support the planning and administration of the Youth Opportunities Fund grant process, as well as recognition and awards programs and contests.
Participate in staff meetings and daily huddles; works directly with the Key Club manager to identify and resolve departmental issues; and assists in collaborative projects with other staff members.
Participate in cross-functional teams within the department and Kiwanis International.
Support Kiwanis Youth Programs team in all initiatives and future programming.
Attend and play a role in training and leadership development events and conferences.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in education, communications or equivalent degree
2-4 years’ experience working with high school students.
Capable of maintaining positive working relationships.
Strong communication and support abilities.
Development and delivery of presentations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google suite products.
Internet proficiency. Web site development.
Association management experience
Experience working with volunteers
Kiwanis Family experience
WORKING CONDITIONS/OTHER INFORMATION:
May be requested to work evenings and weekends for special program events.
Domestic travel required
This position does have some moderate physical demands, especially in executing events like convention and leadership programs (lifting, carrying, moving rapidly from one activity to the next, etc.). Some programs occur in a natural setting, such as a camp facility.
Required to work in a cubicle alongside co-workers.
