The CBA Education Team is responsible for delivery of education and talent management solutions to prepare the next generation of retail bank leadership. This role is responsible for operational execution of all education programs to ensure seamless delivery of both the Executive Banking School and programs delivered at member bank training venues. The backbone of CBA is its committee structure and this role also supports the industry thru serving as a liaison for a CBA Committee.
Reporting to the SVP of Executive Education, this individual is responsible for the successful execution of all operational aspects of the programs and services offered by the Education team. This includes program logistics and process management, coordination of faculty contracts and travel, materials delivery, participant enrollment management, budget responsibility, and other activities that support program execution. Budget responsibility for the Executive Banking School program which is approximately $2m. This role is responsible for one other member of the team (Education Coordinator).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide managerial oversight, coaching and direction to Education Coordinator.
Serve as primary liaison to host university of the Executive Banking School (EBS), including contract negotiations, and coordination of event both before EBS and on campus during the event.
Coordinate all logistics associated with student enrollment, housing logistics, team assignments (both in-session and intersession), and student communications. Serve as primary point of contact for student questions. (This program is a 3-year program that in total serves approximately 325 students).
Responsible for project management activities necessary for overall operational execution of the EBS.
Provide support to the Talent Management Committee, including keeping committee rosters current, tracking meeting participation, and preparation of the meeting agenda & calendar invitations..
Collaborate with team members in development of annual EBS budget and then manage actual revenue and expenses to budget; escalate any budget issues/concerns if they arise.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent program management expertise; ability to organize and achieve deliverables with a high level of timeliness and quality.
Skill in collaborating with others to develop and drive solutions that meet goals and objectives.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with staff at various levels of seniority.
Problem solving skills -- ability to adapt and resolve unexpected issues
Experience managing the strategic and tactical needs of a dispersed faculty
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
5+ years of experience in a project coordinator or operations management role
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Travel is approximately 20%.
