The incumbent provides support in the planning and onsite execution of conference programs as assigned with both the Associate Vice President and the Director of Conference Programming. An especially critical role for this position is to manage the continuing education (CE) credit offerings for the association including accreditation requirements, prospecting, pre-conference planning, marketing, on-site support, post-conference documentation and customer service, as well as support to other departments offering CE for their programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with the programming team, meeting planners, marketing and subject matter experts to identify and properly promote sessions for which CLE (Continuing Legal Education), CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits or SHRM credits are offered. This includes properly describing learning objectives to meet guidelines, identifying all target markets in marketing lists, researching new targets/lists as applicable and seeking new CE opportunities.
Works with accrediting entities such as state BAR associations, NASBA and SHRM to ensure that all paperwork filing and fees deadlines are met.
Works with MBA conference attendees to answer questions about credits offered and about their specific credits earned. Provides thorough certificates and documents in a timely manner after conference attendance, as directed by department policy.
Supports Associate Vice President and Director of Conference Programming for conferences as assigned. Updates conference planning documents, sends out speaker invitations and confirmation packets, obtains speaker bios and headshots, sets up and facilitates session planning calls as needed, prints tent cards and other onsite materials, compiles PowerPoint presentations from speakers, formatting as needed, and posts to website and mobile app, executes conference surveys, works with conference interactive software such as polling apps, posts information in event app, sends out call for speakers and posts to website, meets and escorts speakers and other onsite duties as assigned. Works with Marketing as assigned.
Utilizes the critical path and/or other workflow management to meet all program deadlines.
Travel and extended onsite workdays are required to support programs as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Experience with continuing education credits preferred. Strong organizational, collaborative, time management and diplomatic skills are a must. The incumbent must have excellent oral and written communication skills. The incumbent must be able to travel. Customer service skills are essential. The incumbent must be skilled in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiar with content management systems and association management systems. Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with attention to detail.
