The Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Manager will be responsible for executing quality and creative content to build the associations brand, grow our audience, and increase engagement among members and the industry community. The right candidate will have experience and practical understanding of print, digital, and social advertising and communications channels. The MarCom Manager will be expected to take projects from concept to completion on agreed upon production schedules.
Candidates will be asked to supply samples of marketing and communications work which could include graphic design, press releases, social or digital campaigns, etc.
Practical experience working with common digital and print marketing platforms
Functional use of Adobe CS for design and layout
Ability to use database tools to target market to member segments
Good writer, able to take ideas and turn them into strong messages
Understanding of press media and press release placement
Practical experience working with printers and design consultants
Understanding of Social Media for audience engagement
Strong proof reading ability/detail oriented
Team player and natural communicator
Must have the ability to work independently and remotely when necessary
Telecommuting is allowed.
