What you'll do: - Manage organizational accreditation to provide AMA PRA Category 1 credits™ via the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Ensure compliance with the Essential Areas and Standards as adopted by the ACCME which includes annual reporting requirements and reaccreditation. Ensure program is operating within the American Medical Association (AMA) policies and RSNA policies.
- Provide staff support to education-related committees. Assist with the preparation of Board reports, agenda items, and new program requests as needed.
- Educate RSNA departments, physician participants, activity directors/planners, and key leadership about CME program compliance, credit claiming, and implementation.
- Use market research and analysis to provide recommendations for live courses, webinar series, and other education activities to identify opportunities for growth in various regions of the world. Identify appropriate business partners, develop business models and new revenue sources where appropriate.
- Assist with the content development and implementation strategy for a new online education learning management system (LMS) and website.
- Research innovative course formats, monitor changes in the health care delivery, evaluate existing educational offerings, and make recommendations that will improve courses based on national best practices in continuous professional development.
- Oversee implementation of live education courses held in all regions of the world. Manage course goals and budgets, direct execution, create go-to-market strategy for new courses, and objectively evaluate completed courses.
- Direct vendor selection process and oversees all partnerships related to live education courses, webinar series, and other educational activities.
- Manage co-sponsorship activities with other international organizations and meetings. Represent RSNA CME Office at state, regional, and national meetings. Develop partnerships with other accredited providers.
What you'll need: - 7 or more years of experience in educational programming/project planning, preferably in healthcare
- Comprehensive knowledge of effective best practices and national trends in continuing medical education (CME)
- Strong decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal proficiency including relationship development and management of internal and external relationships
- Demonstrated project management skills along with the ability to design educational activities which incorporates collaboration of multiple stakeholders and cross-functional work teams
- Experience with planning and managing meeting/event planning
- Proven experience in market research and planning for decision making
- Experience in financial modeling and budgeting
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including peers, direct reports, senior leadership, physician volunteers, and vendors
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of staff, physicians, management, executives, and a wide variety of internal and externa stakeholders
- Experience managing a team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and flexible environment
