Finance Operations Manager

The Water Environment Federation is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join the Finance team.  This position manages accounts receivable including collections of delinquent receivables. Ensures all cash activity is correctly and accurately recorded and posted to the general ledger from ancillary systems. Manages grant/contract financial reporting and audit processes. Serves as backup payroll administrator. Provides support to accounts payable as needed.

Principal Functions:

• Manages monthly AR reconciliation process, including collections, with AR support staff.
• Ensures all cash activities (dues, registrations, publications, etc.) are properly recorded in all ancillary reporting systems and agrees with Great Plains general ledger.
• Reviews and validates monthly sales commissions for external and internal sales staff.
• Serves as backup and support for bi-weekly payroll process.
• Monitors and analyzes grant/contract activities and file required financial reports, including annual ICP and manage A-133 audits.
• Serves as backup to AP Manager; assists AP department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
