We are seeking a Webinar & Virtual Events Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a contractor who has both experience and a passion for webinar and virtual/hybrid event support. This position will require, on average, 25 hours per week. During event weeks, the scope of work may exceed 40 hours with tight deadlines. Work can be done virtually, and will be overseen by Director of Brand and Creative, Director of Certification and Education, and the Events and Fulfillment Manager. As a contractor with TMA, you will be working with some of the most notable turnaround professionals and support staff in the industry. Our non-profit association has nearly 10,000 members across 54 chapters worldwide, including 34 North American chapters, and we are leading the restructuring industry with innovative and first-in-class webinar events, programs, and education opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES (SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED UPON BUSINESS NEED): - Support attendees and speakers virtually.
- Encourage participation and engagement with education programs and networking activities.
- Online/Virtual facilitation that will support the learning journeys of TMA Members and event attendees.
- Support ongoing communication between webinars to push learning content to attendees through social learning platforms.
- Serve as a contact person for virtual event/webinar speakers/presenters.
- Assist with preparation, day-of-event execution, closing out, and follow-up of virtual events on various platforms.
- Assist with the preparation of event logistics.
- Collaborate with other members of the TMA Events and Production Teams including Education, Design, Marketing, and Communications.
- Web logistics support, virtual event and education support, conferences staff support, speaker support.
- Assist full-time TMA staff with virtual event(s) and/or on-site management/operations
(attendee support, webinar/virtual event setup and technical management, etc.). - Prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Learn about corporate restructuring and the work of different professionals involved.
- Other responsibilities as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Excellent virtual facilitator skills and ability to answer and troubleshoot questions or to field to appropriate resource
- Experience providing exemplary customer service under pressure
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Experience working remotely and with partners across multiple time zones
- Passion for Events or Events Management
- Flexible work schedule
