CRITICAL THINKING AND REASONING ABILITIESThe ability to carefully examine information, and then understand what it means, and what it represents. Capacity to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form. Problem solving is another crucial critical thinking skill that involves analyzing a problem, generating and implementing a solution, and assessing the success of the plan.
LANGUAGE SKILLSStrong listening and verbal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and member communications. Ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to respond to common inquiries, requests, or complaints from members of the association.
