National trade association based in Arlington VA seeks self-motivated, detailed oriented team player for entry level position to provide administrative and program support for a collaborative team.

Position combines administrative and program support to association policy and advocacy departments. Provide direct administrative support to four senior vice presidents.  Assist with responding to member company inquiries and request for information. On a typical day, individual will prepare correspondence/presentation materials, screen calls, assist with travel arrangements, schedule meetings and conference calls, data entry and tracking, assist with budget/invoicing/expense process, serve as department liaison and point of connect, mailings, and other important functions that contribute to the team’s success.

NACDS is currently a hybrid workplace -- work at least two days per week in the office through the summer (one day is a designated department day) and may work remotely remaining days, subject to change at any time.  Remote work must be within a reasonable commuting distance of our Arlington VA office.  Flexibility around core hours.  NACDS requires up to date COVID-19 vaccination as condition of employment (proof of vaccination and booster required before your start date), unless a reasonable accommodation has been requested and granted for a bona fide medical or religious reason.  

Successful candidates will bring energy to work and collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams to drive toward policy and advocacy priorities; ability to communicate effectively; ability multi-task and meet deadlines; work under direct supervision. Have knowledge of Word, Excel, PPT, Outlooks, database and mailings. College degree preferred and a minimum of two years relevant previous experience.
